For some of you, your semester may have just started and for some, you are already a couple weeks in. For some this may just be another semester and for some this may be their last semester. Either way, I wish everyone the best of luck with this semester. Along the journey don't forget about your goals and everything you can achieve with a great education! One of Nelson Mandela's most popular quotes can be below:
Again, I wish everyone the best of luck!
I think it would be extremely useful to have videos on this website and to have them on Youtube. My idea for videos is to show how to create a plan for completing a degree or how to use some of the resources I have talked about in posts. I would love any feedback on this topic, so that I could plan videos accordingly! Feel free to email me the idea or post it as a comment!
Sometimes you just need to get college credit fast. Maybe you are close to graduating or feel like you already have the knowledge taught in the course. Either way some wonderful options to get college credit fast are listed below:
School and life in general has been really busy for me, but is a new year! At this point, it is starting to slow down so I am hoping to post much more regularly. The hope is to post a few times a month and truly build up this website. By doing so, it can be a wonderful resource for people to accelerate their degree and get where they want to go faster.
Speaking of what I hope to do in the new year, I really hope to develop more of a relationship with those who visit the website. By doing so, I can get a better idea of what people what to read and hear about.
Lastly, I hope to explore other ways of delivering information in the new year. I hope to post presentations and videos. Many people really enjoy watching videos to learn about something, so I hope that gets positive feedback!
A wonderful compilation of online schools has already been compiled at Degree Forum Wikia. For this reason, I wanted to repeat the information here with only some minor changes:
If you are not looking to go an ivy league school, then many would say, it really doesn't matter too much what college you went to for your bachelors degree. If you want one of the following degrees like nursing, engineering, or computer science it may be difficult to do online. If you're looking for a B.S. or B.A. in business or the liberal arts, it might be doable to complete the degree online. Then once a bachelors degree is achieved, many more options become open to you.
For example some employers don't care where or what your degree is in, and only care that it is regionally accredited. Fortunately, the schools I talk about this website are regionally accredited. Another strong reason to accelerate your bachelors degree is so that you have more time to focus on another degree.
With a bachelors degree, you can apply to get a MBA, MPH, Ph.D., J.D., or MD. What will matter, sometimes even more than a good GPA, is work experience, extracurricular activities, solid letters of recommendations, and doing well on graduate standardized exams. A major benefit of doing it online, besides the flexibility, is that there is a greater opportunity to save a lot of money. By following the advice on this website, college can be accelerated and made more affordable, freeing up more time for extra schooling, such as graduate school. In the end, the major 3 colleges discussed on this website will fulfill the purpose of obtaining a regionally accredited Bachelor's degree, and any of the three can be had for less than $10,000. Compare this small sum to some college where you can graduate with $200,000 of debt and think how much money you could save!
